In this course students should be able to understand the pluses and minuses of a career in sales. They should also know the challenges and misconceptions of a career in sales. Students will learn how to approach prospective customers, overcome objectives, find avenues for progression, closing techniques and follow-up processes or procedures. Students should come away with a working knowledge of what it is like to make a sales call, speaking to a customer, handling objectives, addressing the competition, and asking for or accepting the business.
